All fittings are excluded from the scope of the PED Directive 2014/68/EU as piping components.
he flange joints, high shank, low shank and flanges are made of hot forged brass EN 12420 – CW617N, while the seal between the shanks is in DIN-DVGW certified aramid fibre in accordance with DIN 3535, part 6 FA. The caps are made from EN 12164 – CW614N brass bar, while the caps are made from Cu – ETP UNI 5649 – 71 copper.
Before installation, it is important to check that all mating surfaces are clean. Respect the tightening torques indicated on the technical data sheet and in the catalogue, using the correct tools.
NOTE: It may be necessary to use sealing materials, such as glues or tapes if no gaskets are placed between the mating surfaces. In any case, it is advisable to check the tightness of the connection before installation.
