MC Refrigerazione has designed a series of flanged adapters according to ISO 5211 which allow connecting electromechanical rotary actuators, specifically designed for this type of flanged connection, to its own ball valves. Thanks to this solution the remote control on the opening/closing of the ball valve is allowed. In relation to the size and type of ball valve, the table below allows choosing the right adapter and actuator with the minimum required operating torque.
All adapters are made of UNI EN 10277 11SMnPb37 steel with galvanized surface treatment and have a locking screw to prevent loosening of the ring nut anchoring to the ball valve due to any system vibrations.
If actuators other than those indicated by GMC are installed, the maximum weights applicable to the structure indicated in the table must be taken into account: if these limits are exceeded, provide for constraints that prevent this weight from being unloaded on the brazing of the copper connections and which engage the brass body, such as the Detail X in the technical datasheet.
