KMA series coils must be supplied with alternating current, KMD coils with direct current. These coils can only be used with normally closed valves. The connection terminals consist of three fast-on connections, two line and one ground, which are arranged to mate perfectly with the DIN43650 connector. All coils comply with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/ EC and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC.
The casing of all coils is made of RYNITE thermoplastic polyester resin which guarantees high mechanical resistance combined with excellent thermal and oxidising agent resistance. The connectors, made entirely of PA66, are coupled to the coil by interposing a profiled NBR seal, giving the assembly an IP65 degree of protection. The windings, made of class H copper wire, make them able to withstand high temperatures and electromechanical stress.
KMA and KMD series coils can be installed only on GMC solenoid valves and connected with appropriate connectors compliant with DIN43650.
